Just catching up on the highlights from last night, and Mbappé looked majestic. Such an exciting player. Barca are going to drop like a stone post-Messi, and I kind of like it. Although, they were magnificent in their pomp.
The Liverpool game looked close, Leipzig losing because they don't have any super quality to make their good play count.
Also, I'm not saying it's in any way racist, but Darren Fletcher and Steve McMannaman berating Upemecano for his terrible defending in letting Mané in to score, when I could see easily on first viewing that it was Mukiele, was particularly annoying. The damn fools need to actually watch some football that isn't Premier League.
Also, it was only highlights, but Upemecano showed why I'm not sure about him. He has massive confidence in himself and is a real leader on the pitch, and I love that about him, but he makes so many bad decisions and just does not read the game well at all. I think he'll grow into a very good player at Bayern, but it will be a bumpy road for him.
