That's more down to the type of players he has though. He most definitely knows how to coach a defence but it's not like he's a defensive manager, out of all teams I've seen this season play against Frankfurt they were the best. Who is this Mr Burns?

I actually have a very good German friend who is a Dortmund fan. He identified you guys as their biggest threat and so I’ve been following Frankfurt’s games closely towards the end of the season hoping to troll him a bit. He has had his fun with me a few times during this piss pot of an Arsenal year, so yeah I was invested in the Schalke Frankfurt game. I set aside some time of my own life to watch Frankfurt play against a team with 18 points, already relegated, whose fans had attacked the players/staff, a team which has Mustafi marshaling the back four.

And you guys shat the bed worse than Lasagna Tottenham. :-/

We definitely have but the bedshitting started weeks ago when Frankfurt were trashed by Gladbach. Turns out if your CEO and especially manager announce midseason they're leaving for domestic rivals stuff like that tends to happen. Exact same situation like three years ago, when Frankfurt were in a CL spot and Bayern announced Kovac would be moving there midseason - cue collapse and season finish in 7th

I've made my peace with the situation. I'll be in front of the stadium with a couple friends and a couple litres pig blood come Saturday, after that I'll be looking forward to the EL campaign next season

Glasner moves to Frankfurt. Out of all names (Terzic, Favre, Seoane, Bilic etc) by far the best coach

Leaves a CL club to manage Frankfurt who were in a relegation playoff just five years ago. Shame no one told us we couldn't change who we are innit Coombs 😉
