Oh Speedy, that much is clear. I’m not talking about supporting the players. I’m talking about the relationships between teams. Why are agents taking disproportionate fees for those? That makes no sense.

I asked an agent about the pogba deal, he reckoned most of that money will be kicked back to pogbas family through tax loopholes, and no player would accpt and agent making that much off the deal. Maskes sence pogbas family probably arent set up for tax avoidance.

Thanks for that.
A more transparent structure is the player gets paid all that’s due to him by the buying club though his salary and signing bonuses. Unless they like these arrangements because they can offshore funds through them. Again, murky.
I think football needs reform. We need to help clubs manage finances better and reducing superfluous spend on agents has to be one fast avenue for doing that without compromising players’ quality of life

The whole thing is marky slme of the shit Sam alerdice got up to is worse than any agent.

There are tons of dodgy people in thd sport in every area. FIFA downwards. The whole things needs to be increasingly regulated, my initial point was some agents are great guys. I've had agents do me massive favours several times with nothing in return.

Yeah like a 350kpw contract you mean.

Trickle down economics. Clubs pay players who pay mascots.

Every now and then I think about the fact that someone as unskilled and talentless as Mino Raiola has raked home hundreds of millions of dollars. I don't know where else in society that ever happens, outside the lottery and organised crime. And even the drug cartels have to work for it.

The amount they earn is absolutely insane. Some of them earn more than majority of the football clubs in lower leagues.

Liverpool and Dortmund have shocked me.

God know what went truly on in the Van Dijk and Allison transfers.
