Yes, I'm saying that if it's one of those things and our attackers are better than Newcastle then we're left with the other option.

It was probably an automated thing done by his social media team. He should be out of the team as he has been shit for 18 months now not for the post.
The thing is, who is gonna play? Lacazette scores at a lower rate then Auba who barely scores, at least Laca could hold the ball and bring others into play...but I don't know. Watching him be out of breath after 10 minutes of a game...watching him run in sand, turn slower then Mertesaker, I don't think I can take it. Eddie has less then 10 goals in his professional career & will sign with another team in one month. Balogun is not ready. We fucked it up big time....I would play Marinelli to be honest...but I can't see Arteta doing that.

He's 32. Almost everyone I know that age is constantly posting on social media. Agree his drip is terrible, most footballers are just bad though.

As I mentioned before, I'm sure that Auba's level has dropped and that's playing it's part in what we are seeing. But it's difficult to know to exactly what extent because Arteta's teams are set up like a Bolton of old mentality, try to nick a goal maybe on set piece then all hands to the pump at the back no more adventurous or attacking play. See the game out and ride your luck. I think that type of game plan would cause problems for any decent creative player they won't thrive in that environment.

This is my biggest concern too. We're on course for 46 goals this season based on the first 14 games, and it's not because we don't have players who can score goals.

As I've said, I like what's been done in terms of recruitment and also the functioning at back of the team, but the attack needs a big improvement and fast.

I think Martinelli needs to become a fixture now given the level he showed at Old Trafford. He's both a goal scorer and a creator, and we don't have enough of those in the attack.

I was initially optimistic about what's being done to our defence but we've just shipped in 4 goals vs Liverpool and 3 vs United so I don't think a lot has changed. Our goals against column is the worst amongst the current top 6 teams and when I looked at the teams we've kept clean sheets against it's mainly Leicester that stands out. The rest are teams that have a dysfunctional attack this season or are relegation candidates.

The recruitment has been good but the coaching is still mid-table level.

Leicester wasnt even good from the back four. Their job is basically to limit the xG and then Ramsdale has to do the rest. They didnt do that at all, but Ramsdale luckily did.
