Growing up I had malaria an average of 3 times a year. Weakens you badly while the parasite rages, but my recovery time was always 3-4 days, at the most. Unless he has a poor immune system, he should be fine in no time.

Difference is Aubameyang is a French boy. Gabon is a place he visits. He might not have your hardy constitution.

I’m just going to keep bringing this gentleman into the spotlight every now and then. Arteta needs to find a way to get more out of him. Right now he’s totally anonymous during games.

Attention needed rightly so. We won't compete next season without goals from our main center forward. The goals can be spread but then he needs to get involved more. When he isn't scoring and on the periphery of games, we suffer most of the time

I think this is Arteta’s biggest decision for the summer (whether to keep or sell).

Will he get better at 32? Prob not. Sell now whilst we still have some value for him imo.

Its not a lack of effort. Its more tactical. Laca is the same when he plays up top but he drops back into the midfield to get the ball.

Absolutely. Our tactics don't involve striker much because we don't work the ball into the middle of the box enough.

Arteta has gutted the creativity of the team.

We are hardly creating chances for our strikers.

While auba is a top player he'll rely more on chance creation to feed him as he ages.

We absolutely need to improve creativity. 3rd best defense all season, but not taking enough shots. Both Arsenal and Liverpool are on a 5 game win streak, but Pool pepper opponent goals
Arsenal shots in each game. 16, 12, 5, 15, 19.

Liverpool shots: 19, 20, 26, 17, 14

In fairness that's far better than earlier on in the season. Auba will be fine in the long run, the whole malaria thing and the Spurs lateness was a shame because he was hitting some good form just prior to that. But I'm not worried, he just need to keep improving on the creative front.

Our xG is 10th this season overall. We have outperformed our xG fwiw because we are not attempting more shots

aubameyangs game has never really been catered to at arsenal, and he's still had a really good output. will have to see how he turns up next season. hopefully hungry to show this season was just a blip on what's been a very good record

IF this IS the style Arteta wants, then IMO we'd be better off to sell both PEA and Laca and get a CF/ST who better fits the role.
At this point I don't really care about making or losing money on transfers = what I want is to start next season in the preferred shape and roles with a team that is balanced and fit for purpose.

When it gets to a point where you have all these players that the manager can't get the best out of then you have to realise its not the players that are the problem.
