After the City fiasco I said I'd rather this guy never wore our shirt again and I still feel that way.
Firstly no matter what kind of shape he's in or how well he appears to be playing, he's proven he can throw a match away all by himself. He's killed before and he will kill again.
Secondly, he's a deceptive player in that he appears to be thinking progressively and creatively on the pitch, but in terms of execution he too often lands in the gap between having an idea and delivering it. This is even more apparent since he moved into a more advanced role. You see him do something, you see what he tried to do and perhaps admire the intent, but the percentages are needlessly low.
