Aye, Its been so nice to have ESR ODE and partey to bring up the technical levell, we were so average. Xhakas unpredictable distribution (jokes aside) adds a lot to our play. I love watching his distribution.

I’d post a video showing why it’s not hard to see why fans hate him so much, but this is not the time.

I love his personality actually. He is a fighter, a communicator and a leader.

He’s also poo at what we need him to do and be in the midfield football skills wise, unfortunately.

He actually has a bit of value because of his decent qualities, makes him one of the most worthwhile players to move on. Like we all know Willian is crap but we aren't going to able to offload him, or when Torreira goes permanently we've killed his value. Need to get Xhaka out while he still has value.

Exactly. And I don’t see him as one content to ride the bench here or anywhere else really. Hope we’re finally able to cash in and replace this summer. But honestly, I doubt we’ll be looking to sell.

It’s okay if we keep him and still get that destroyer to partner Partey. Partey’s ability to run a “one” man midfield in the past few games means we can focus on a Bissouma type who can stop and initiate next to him. The links and rumours clearly suggest that DM, AM and RB are a priority with striker potential

xhaka and chambers at fullback is artetas ult formula. 2 extra mids to circulate the ball. xhakas one footedness cuts both ways though. if he gets targeted and pressed it can be problematic, but at the same time his ability to switch play from fullback is a handy little bonus
