Have to confess I picked this one wrong—after Xhaka's interminable disciplinary issues and sulks, I never could've imagined him both playing at the level he's been at recently and also fixing his temper and becoming an actual leader.
A year ago, if I'd been sat down to dinner with him, I probably would've tried to kill him with a fork. That's how infuriating he was.
Impressive from Xhaka as well as Arteta. Will be interesting to see how he goes if we enter another period of indifferent form, as his mood and performances seem to rise and ebb in cycle with the side as a whole.
