What a setup by ASM, great slide rule ball and a perfect cross for Willock. He is literally like a 2nd forward, Bruce found him a proper position.

Would have been great if he had been given the whole season on loan. Should definitely hold on to him rather than sell for funds.

Yeah, I am in favour of selling him to raise some funds but his actually have goalscoring instincts in the box. If we are not playing a number 10 but 3 CMs he would be a decent option to have. Play him like Dele Alli in the hybrid 10 role.

But looks like its the Iwobi situation, we will sell him if a good price arrives

That’s a tough one, tempted to say Grealish but the smart move would probably be the latter.

Yep. Small-time clubs are more concerned about getting good value than they are about keeping good players on their books.

This is just Romano musing though, I doubt the fecker has an actual clue about anything when it comes to Willock.

If we sell Willock this summer we deserve players like Willian and Ceballos.

You want him to start or to be the first sub? I want Willock to stay as well, but if we're buying a new CM and Willock is the first man off the bench I'm not sure how saying no to a good bid for him is any different from saying no to buying Ødegaard because we have ESR. Alternative cost-wise it's the same thing, whether it's spending or saying no to a bid that would enable us to spend doesn't make a difference.

Well Joe's already at Arsenal, is a youth product, HG status, younger and does exactly what we aren't good at, score goals. He'd cost less in wages too.

The "already at Arsenal" part is what I try to understand why matters. Selling an Arsenal player and buying a replacement doesn't automatically cost more than keeping an Arsenal player and not buying one.

And I don't think creating chances is what we're good at either, so there's that.

Does he create a lot of chances? We haven't really looked more creative with him in the team.

I'm using what I know about the players' abilities to make up these opinions rather than simply how we've looked this season. If I didn't think there was more than what we're currently seeing in our players I wouldn't really want Arteta out because that'd mean he just didn't have good enough players.

I don't think we looked more likely to score with Willock in the team either for what it's worth and I don't think we've looked improved since signing Partey, but that doesn't mean I don't think he's by far our best CM.

Actually hilarious that Leicester are going to miss out on CL football again right at the death after looking clear for most of the season.

If Newcastle turned up with 30-40m would you say no because he looks good in Bruce's system?

We've regularly had players come back from loans only to get worse and worse and sold for peanuts.

Joel Campbell came back from a very successful loan and scored against man united in the cl. We wheeled him on for the carling cup and a few odd starts and off he went for nothing a few years later.

The only thing we've done decently is sold the likes of Iwobi for 40m when the stock was high.

Without champions league football it will be hard to have a lot of funds.

Selling AMN and Willock for 60-70m will help.
