Really? They're 6 points ahead of us (Chelsea and West Ham are 7 and 8). If we were to overtake a couple of them no one will be talking about it being one of the greatest feats in sport.

I actually think we'll overtake or catch up the likes of Villa, Everton and West Ham by mid April if we can maintain a decent run of form. I'm not too worried about Spurs either. I do think Chelsea and Liverpool are a tough ask though, simply because they're better teams than us right now, but you never know.

West Ham have been really good lately though. Even against City West Ham had 1,7 xG compared to City's 0,8.

They have, but ultimately they're punching above their weight and they have Leeds, United, Arsenal, Leicester, Wolves and Chelsea in 6 of their next 7 games. I'd be amazed if they kept it up.

Speaking of, it's unbelievable how many good half chances Palace are wasting. Benteke just had a shot that went in the opposite direction of the goal ffs. United have been atrocious and Fernandes looks like he's having is first real poor spell of form.

To be fair to Ole, the Glaziers only sanctioned £70m worth of expenditure in the summer to add to his £800m squad, not sure what you were really expecting them to achieve.

They just have the great fortune that in Pogba, Bruno, Rashford they have players who can get forward and overwhelm any bottom 14 defense And then kids like Greenwood can run with them and score.

They generally got really 'lucky' with results earlier on in the season to, playing like shit but getting wins thanks to a 5-10 min spell where the players you mention make the difference. I think they've had 3 injury time winners too. Actually that's not totally correct, one of those winners actually came after the full time whistle.

Their run in is atrocious too, I don't see Ole starting next season sadly.

United is a bottom half team without Bruno. He's the difference maker. Simply astonishing how much they rely on him and also diving for penalties

That’s why I don’t understand how they're still doing fairly well. We nullified Bruno completely in the first match this season. We struggled a bit more the second match but he still didn't get to that many chances.
