We need a St Totts. Please. That is much much more achievable than top 4. If we can finish ahead of either or both Chelsea and Spurs, it will give our guys some confidence. Only question is are West Ham here to stay?
No more than the likes of Everton.
I thought they'd kick-on after their move with increased revenues but they've managed to lose their way until now. Moyes may have given them some stability on second attempt, but IMO much of their success this season is due to not having UEFA football mid-week, as their squad lacks the depth and/or quality for more than 1 comp at the same time.
Same applies with other clubs who have flirted with top4 already, and I think the condensed season schedule will have an impact. Villa reportedly looked leggy v WHam last time out, as did Saints in the PL fixture against us whilst Wolves showed SFA despite their numerical advantage against us. Even the big squads look tired at times.
