Everton will be good fun this season, better going forward but modified like a sieve.

James is going to kill Digne buy the end of the season. Keeps finding him in some time and time again only for him to give it away time and time again.

I really love watching James play. I don't know if he can keep this up or not but I'm very happy he's in Premier League. The league needs more players like him.

They have some good players. They were a better side than Leeds in the Championship for most of last season. They only really imploded towards the end once they were already promoted.

Still think Everton would have won this comfortably in the end, red cards or no red cards. Their level of investment is one or two orders of magnitude larger and it's bound to show.

Calvert-Lewin is a good player, makes it happen with the ability he has.

Kean is an atrocious player, how was he ever rated?

How did Allan and Doucoure play? The midfield three of Allan, Doucoure + James does look seriously balanced and good on paper.

Hard to judge based on this game. It was an even contest in midfield for 35 minutes. Allan looks like he might run into similar physicality issues that torreira faced, but has a backlog of experience that should help him cope

Fulham and West Brom already look like they're going straight back down - what's the point of these clubs? Would much rather have had a Brentford or something in there.
