Oh definitely generally. He's probably a decent enough manager but I think Lampard dug his own grave with how he spent the money.

Oh yeah I'd totally hate it if Kroenke was investing hundreds of millions in the team and considered dropping to 8th to be failure.

Certainly now, most of the big successful clubs in Europe are the ones that change when a manager overseas a dip in the team. They take steps to address that decline early certainly within 1-2 seasons.

Chelsea's situation is different. They have stability (which is not overrated) in roles other than the manager. Kroenke simply doesn't have equivalent people to run Arsenal like Chelsea.

Still think Bielsa is the coach we should be looking at. The sort of football he has Leeds playing is really admirable. The only thing he lacks is quality players and a fully supportive board at a big club in my view. Maybe he also gets the best out of Pepe since he already worked with him previously.

Guy is nuts. Wouldn't last long. We need an Allegri type of manager. Experienced and well regarded manager, someone that is up to the level of a top team in the best league in the world.

Also, and I know a lot of ppl hate them because they won the lottery.

But I have to give it to Man City, they basically stop our rivals from winning big trophies (think they will go on to win the league and hopefully the two domestic cups).

Imagine if it wasn’t for Man City how many more trophies those cunts Utd and Chelsea (who won their own lottery) would have?

Hopefully we can compete with them for major silverware in the not so distant future.

Rather them win the trophies than United or Liverpool or Chelsea.

I just hate Liverpool so much because of their fans and their media cult. Wanted them to continue their record of having never won the PL but now that they have broken that duck it really doesn't make a huge difference. At this point I'd rather they won the title if it came to a choice between them and United. Want United's run without a league title to go on and on as long as possible. City I could care less about because they aren't even a real football club.

I'd rather city or pool win it than united. I basically want all managers who tormented us during the invincible era to fail miserably. fat Frank is already done for, and i don't want gollum getting any shine either

Everton, Leicester or draw for tonight's game? I'd be happy with anything but a Leicester win. Everton may have a few games in hand but I'm pretty confident we'd be able to chase them down.

Also have high hopes for Burnley and Wolves doing us a favour.
