In a normal company, under these difficult circumstances, you usually start by telling them to halt unprofitable work and then reducing the largest costs. People are usually were you start.

- cutting player costs needs to be in a more long-term fashion. i.e., you will break the club if you just cut costs. You could easily say, release players whose contracts end this summer, or don't extend anyone, or don't resign players. But that will destroy the business.
