That's not difficult is it? It was only his fanboys claiming he is the best player of the team after 15/16. He hasn't been up to standards consistently after the first 2.5 seasons.

Absolutely. We need players with hunger and a point to prove. Its why although I wouldn't spend huge on Odegaard I can still see a lot of upside to him on top of his ability. Same goes for our own kids like Willock and Saliba, these guys have it all ahead of them. Can't have half checked out players who's best is behind them.

Nobody does it like ESR. The guy runs and runs like Forest Gump from the first minute. Constantly moving and making himself available for passes. But the kids like Tierney, Saka and Odegaard offer the same spirit.

Horrible record yes but to be fair remember who's voting for this and who we are. Fucking Harry Kane by himself won it more often than all Arsenal players have in the last decade and he was 16 when it started.

You’ve seen the guy’s numbers. It can quite comfortably be said that he’s the 4th most important striker after Henry, Aguero and Shearer. So that he’s racked up awards while Giroud, Xhaka and Laca stunk up the place is not a surprise

Jones probably wasn't talking about Giroud, Xhaka and Laca. You can tell me that Özil didn't deserve any PotM awards in his first season, that Sanchez and Cazorla didn't deserve any in their time here and that Kane deserves all of his. Agree to disagree.

I’m not surprised that he has a ton of player of the month awards while we don’t is all.

Is there possibly an English bias in the award? I wouldn’t be surprised. But the comparison that we should’ve had a ton of awards in the time doesn’t add up in my mind
