That’s some endorsement.

By all accounts it sounds like we’ve got a really promising batch of kids coming through. I’m glad it looks like we’ve got a proper plan in place to progress them to the first team.

I was watching the latest 'behind the scenes' Arsenal training video and one kid stood out for me : Kido Taylor - Hart. I know its based on a short clip but he does look like a prospect and was not afraid of taking players on.

In case he becomes a star in the future, remember where you heard his name first :-)

Any relation to Atiba Hutchinson? Because that bloke was utterly brilliant despite toiling away in anonymity. Could have been one of the best midfielders in Europe with a different passport.

Reserves are playing tonight vs Southampton. Balogun has started again. I don't know what that means for his long term future.

Ben Cottrell has given us an early lead. Been impressed from what little highlights I have seen of him.

Cottrell just put the U23 a goal up against Southampton. He assisted Balogun's goal above too. Lots of noises that he might be getting involved in the first team at some point this season.

Saliba is starting for us so very likely that he will not be involved against West Ham.

From our promising young crowd, Balogun and Cottrell are starting while Cirjan and Azeez are on bench.

The game is apparently being streamed live on Brighton's website.
