His technique looks pretty flawless to me. It's his passng that needs to improve. He doesn't seem to quite have the vision or the range to play like a 10 to me, but he does have plenty to work with.
I think he'd make an excellent box to box player with that frame personally, but I'm also not sure he'd have more tools than Willock in that role. Don't think it's outlandish to suggest he'll get playing time on the wing next season until he improves or we can figure out where he belongs.
