If we can bring a Saka to term amidst all this chaos, it would be an enormous success. Throw in one of Nketiah, Willock and Nelson and such a bonus.

The real wildcard is how Martinelli recovers. He started full training with the squad on Friday so that’s one thing to celebrate.

From what little I have seen, Azeez is not ready to start for the first team especially in the midfield pivot/fulcrum role our coaches want him to become.

The youngsters won by 3-1. Third win in a row now.

Based on what little I saw - Moller, Cirjan, Cottrell and Azeez were very good.

Very impressive debuts (not sure of that) for the two 16 year olds - Taylor-Hart (winger who loves to run at people and dribble, also scored) and Norton-cuffy (right back).

Mari and Chambers looked rusty, very understandably.

Apparently Mavropanos had a top game against Bayern on his first start back from injury.

Still have high hopes for him.
