I'll be impressed if any non-Brits got the Patsy reference. 😁
Big Willie doubt he would know who rickkkkkyyy is
Burnwinter and who did Bianca go out with?
Sicario2 No idea, you've lost me there amigo, only got one slice of the joke I guess.
Wait, there's a Carlton Palmer? Thought it was a Carlton Cole/Cole Palmer joke.
Wasn't Aubas dad a pro, that's why he grew up in France IIRC.
Big Willie Doubt it. Even @QuincyAbeyie who started watching football in 06 gets it
@Sicario2 never mind. After seeing @QuincyAbeyie's post, and @Burnwinter's (though only somewhat off the mark), I stand corrected.
Meanwhile I'm over here just getting my groove on
Real shame he is leaving, he has done a great job with the Academy and we are seeing the results with great emerging talent. Good player as well for the club so wish him all the best.
JazzG oh darn
Yeah, feels like it's only in the last 12 months that we've started to see the fruits of his labours so shame that he's stepping down now.
Wonder what his next move is.
Alternate on view on things.
JazzG I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of that is due to Per's laser-focus on the players and what is best for them as people. Sad to see him leave, especially if we're going to compromise those values.
JazzG a lot of that seems outside the scope of his job. I think the club may need to put in more than just a replacement and add a new structure to the youth department.
Whoever comes in will have big shoes to fill.
Santi please
The point about loan relationships is one that stands out to me, and could have been a deficiency for Mertesacker. I get the sense Wilshere has been a significant loss from our youth setup.
sad, had the kids well prepared for the step up into the first team.
8 years is a long time, you need a different perspective. we also need a sister club like citeh and chelsea.
Meatwad no. We shouldn’t engage in that corruption
