In the grand scheme of things it probably won't matter. He's not a main goalscorer or a centreback. It's not like the club won't survive losing him.
I do care though. I think he's got bags of potential, can't get behind the idea of selling someone who's both our best and youngest player for a position, and he's also our own product, a lad who's been at the club since he was seven or eight, which makes me have a lot more time for him than someone of equal quality that we could bring in.
Besides, we never replace players properly. If Ainsley goes it'll just be fucking Cedric left as the only competition for a Bellerin who has looked past it for years now. And that kind of shithousery I simply refuse to get behind.
