West Ham rejected a swap proposal from Chelsea for Declan Rice which involved Ross Barkley and Michy Batshuaiy going in the other direction.

How is Hojberg in a 25m pound tussle? He's bang average.
Looks like a good DM but not a ball player, although his attacking numbers are decent.
Speaking of him, the press are so good at this.
[Southern Daily Echo] Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg agrees personal terms with Everton after Saints accept £25m offer
liverpoolecho-Everton have not bid 25m for Hojbjerg as he makes it clear he wants to join Tottenham
. I asume, Sotton are using Everton to milk some more money of Spurs.
Did they not sign him to a huge contract last season?
He was important in helping them stay up.
Decent left back
I mean CHO has to look at reduced minutes and the arrivals of Ziyech and Havertz and wonder how he is going to fit in up front. Chelsea gets so much credit for their 10 million youngsters but none of them are Greenwood or Foden. They’ll have to spend as they always do
The Rangnick news is very good for us.
There was talk of Szoboszlai going to Milan because of him, and now he is not there, I think that really leaves the door open for him.

Yeah. With Pulisic coming good I think a front four of him, Havertz, Ziyech and Werner is the most likely scenario. CHO sees that. They gave him a huge contract be cause they were transfer banned and didn't want him to leave last summer, but now Abramovich is back.
What do you think of that front 4, Quince? Havertz, Ziyech, Werner Pulisic, High on talent, low on experience?
Not sure if it will work, at least not immediately, but there's something to be said for having an exciting player in each of those four positions.
Claudius wrote:What do you think of that front 4, Quince? Havertz, Ziyech, Werner Pulisic, High on talent, low on experience?
I would not consider Ziyech as inexperienced. He is almost 28 years old and has a lot of experience (4-5 years) of regularly playing in European cup competitions.
West Ham and Crystal Palace are rumored to be in tug-of-war for QPR attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.
He is reportedly one of the most exciting players in the championship alongside Brentford's Said Benrahma.
With QPR firmly in mid-table in the championship and not in any contention for the playoffs, now is the right time for him to make the step up to the premier league.
Werner is amongst the most experienced players of his age with 200+ Bundesliga appearances and nearly a 100 bundesliga goals.
They are all proven in the top league for at least 2 seasons. If they click it will be a pretty sick front 4 for the next 5 years at the very least.
And they still have Abraham, Mount, CHO etc all waiting.
Sane did an interview today and he apparently confirmed Havertz to Chelsea.
He said, „it‘s good for Chelsea, that they signed two German top talents with Werner and Havertz this summer“.
Crazy how little I know about football outside of Arsenal. I have legit never heard of Victor Osimhen before reading transfer rumours about him..never seen him play either. 60 milion euro player apparently.
Ha, the guys is still active.
According to di Marzio, Ante Rebic's agent, Fali Ramadani, is meeting with Paolo Maldini to discuss Rebic's permanent transfer to Milan.
Yeah, sure.

Osimhen is talented and may even become a world class striker but paying 60 million on the basis of one decent season in Ligue 1 is madness in my opinion.
I wonder if Spurs will consider a swap Guendouzi for Ndombele
Clrnc wrote:I wonder if Spurs will consider a swap Guendouzi for Ndombele
I wouldn’t swap them, but I would enquire about Ndombele. Whether spurs would ever sell to us is the questions.
You wouldn't?!
Looks like Man City's deal for Ferran Torres has a good chance of going through.
The deal with include cash + Venezuelan international Yangel Herrera going in other direction to Valencia.
Herrera is a defensive midfielder who has had a very impressive season for La Liga's surprise package, Granada.
Quincy Abeyie wrote:You wouldn't?!
My worry is that Guendouzi haunts us with spurs.
I do rate Ndombele, and think if we somehow landed him and partey, it would be the closet thing we had to having Big Pat in midfield.
Ndombele would be a great addition. We need a midfielder with athleticism who can carry the ball, and if anyone could benefit from an Arteta masterclass on body positioning and first touch in midfield, it's him.
No thanks to Ndombele. He’s technically gifted but lacks the work rate.
Arteta could up the workrate of a snail. Think it would be a massive coup.

Lille seem to be doing great at picking up good talents and then selling them for huge money, we should try just buying the guys they are interested before they get to them .
Rumenigge about Thiago: "He wants to leave this summer, but it has to be said that we only consider selling if a certain amount of money is offered. The sums I sometimes read in certain news outlet is something I can only laugh about. Even in Corona times we're not hosting a FC Bayern summer sale"
Barcelona would accept a cheap transfer for Umtiti, but the reality is that his sale will be difficult. Umtiti wants to continue at Barcelona and has a valid contract. @Tjuanmarti(@sport.)
Edinson Cavani's brother and agent have had a "very good" meeting with Benfica's president over the transfer of the player.
Chelsea want to get rid of Kante? Why?
12 milion for a 31 year old, error prone defender in his last year of contract. How?
Coombs wrote:Arteta could up the workrate of a snail. Think it would be a massive coup.
Apart from the Ozil snail. We should beware and steer clear if his attitude and workrate are questionable. Nobody has time for this.
United in talks for Coman
Fuck off
Coman is broken anyway.
United are confused. They need to fix their entire back 6. What the fuck are they doing? I’m not worried about them at all. They’re worse run then us.
HomeSteak wrote:Chelsea want to get rid of Kante? Why?
He's had a poor season.
He wasn't great last year either. Think they're spot on to sell him now while he still has market value.
Very quick and ruthless decision from Chelsea
A club that does its utmost to be successful.
If they are stupid enough to sell him we should get him here
Absolutely not. Too expensive, No resale value, possibly damaged goods. The sort of player we should be staying away from right now.

Would be a nice coup for Everton. Allan's form has been declining, but I think part of that was his desire to go to PSG last year.
RMC Sport report that Ligue 1 side Lille have reached an agreement with 24-year-old Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos over a possible summer move from Rangers.
