I think they're going to disappoint too. Not keen at all on Lampard as a coach, although he might have thrown enough money around to make up for it, similar to Solskjaer. Havertz will probably be their player of the season though.

Yep. Lampards going to struggle. He had a new manager bounce and a lack of pressure last season due to the transfer ban. Now instead of a load of exited youngsters hanging on his every word and zero pressure he has a lot of expensive signing to accommodate and all the expectations that come with it.

Not massively risky as if he underperforms they'll hang on to him and get some value but if he gets close to achieving his potential they'll make a mint. Wolves starting to look like a solid stepping stone club for a lot of players.

Probably includes a success fee for all of Mendes’ good work to date. They either need to sell on their stars or give him ridiculous commission to make this project worthwhile

They balked at paying more than £15m for AMN, still haven’t replaced Doherty, yet have 40m for a kid who has played just 1 game.

Just like Chelsea telling reporters here that Havertz cost up to £70m, where Leverkusen are briefing that the fee is up to €100m

Football fees these days are not believable

If was wrong all along. Ornstein, Matt Law and various other journalists consistently reported the correct amount from the very beginning

Aulas would rather eat cat shit than do that move. He’d probably much rather talk Guendouzi. Profiting on player trading is central to his model. Getting Lacazette would kill future profit streams.
