What message? Sokratis is our best performing RB currently. He’s there on merit.
AMN clearly took himself out of the reckoning.
Counter productive by what measure? I love Hector but he has been trash on both ends of the pitch.
No qualms regarding Sokratis, Bellerin has looked poor recently and AMN seems like he's pissing away his career at the moment
Özil there is a bigger issue. Would've rather seen Willock and Ceballos further ahead
Agree with Jonesy and Goon. Bellerin is terrible at the moment. I'd rather have Sokratis if Arteta is still freezing out Maitland-Niles.

Guys, not only is Bellerin below par. He’s coming back from a bad injury. It’s okay for him to sit. We have a massive game in 4 days. He might not be able to do this and City at 100%

That too. I really think Sokratis had a good game against Pompey. He'll never be a great attacking player but there's still value in doing the simple things right. And that finish was just, what the fuck 😆

I didn't see the pompey game. Sokratis has been detrimental to our attacking play down the right every other time I've seen him start there

One tip for Arteta. If we do play Sokratis at right back, maybe we should play Nelson at right forward. That will ensure we have width on the right. Pépé always cuts in and Sokratis will not be there to overlap him. Thoughts?
Looking at our squad a rightback and a central midfielder has to be the priority this summer. I think the attack is good, the keeper is good, the rest of the defence is good. Bellerin and one of Xhaka/Torreira have to be replaced in the starting eleven though, and we don't have internal solutions that are good enough.
I just hope AMN can prove before the season is over that we don't need a right back. Would be immensely helpful if all our funds could go to midfield.
More likely we'll just sign Cedric.
