He was a bit shit out wide when he arrived but hes fucking mint now all round when he gets the ball out wide.
Autumn tran!
Supposedly our main target of the summer, with us looking to wrap up a deal before the Euros
Massive want.
Him feeding Martinelli and Auba!
Or Johnathan David!
I couldn’t even make it through the video before I came out to approve. Looks a baller.
What’s his weaknesses?
Judging from that comp he doesn't care much for any back-lift in his passing . Neat player, just hope he has a decent amount of pace.

He’s not that strong at claiming crosses when he’s asked to play as an emergency goalkeeper
There's this dutch gooner on twitter often raving about him.
Doubt it would happen, we are constantly link with young Turkish midfielders over all these years from Germany and Turkish league and not once was it even remotely close.
Hard to judge when the football is played in slow motion.

Looks slower than Cazorla.....
Linked with not one, not two but three Olympiakos players.
Their left back Tsimikas, defensive mid Mady Camara and center back Pape Cisse.
I don't know if its just journalists trying to drum some interest after they eliminated us from Europa League.
As far as I know there have been links with Tsimikas from last year about our interest.
I thought Pape Cisse was great against us. Looked exactly the sort of player who'd do well in England. Haven't watched them otherwise though.
Yeah looked a unit too
He looked excellent both legs. Big ole bloke who marked us out of the game and gave us trouble on offense as well. I really liked him. I would bid for him. He’s the kind of buy we could do to save money in defense and then spunk our cash on top tier midfielders. Vieira San Gilberto must weep every time they sit down to watch us
Yes, Cisse looked quite impressive, would certainly be worth a punt.
24 years old too, just the right age for a step up.
There was a young centreback for Vitoria Guimaraes that really stood out in both games against us earlier in the Europa League: Edmond Tapsoba; he impressed me an awful lot. Sat down to watch Leverkusen take on Dortmund last week and there he was turning out for the former; Leverkusen paid €16m+ for him in the January window, so he clearly is a talent.
That said, he was terrible in the game I watched, looked entirely out of place, it was obviously one of his first matches in a new team/league, but it perhaps says something about players impressing in such a rubbish competition and when coming from even worse national leagues: the transition will take time and the step up is massive. I'm hoping the club have less riskier targets: Champions League players or players from stronger leagues, but obviously talent is the most important factor.
If we’re splashing big on one player this summer that player needs to be Thomas Partey
and cisse looks a legit 6'6", unlike koulibaly who was listed at 6'5" and then he wasn't towering over anyone when napoli played us.

google translates
hilarious. it's one thing to wishlist a player based on things you see on the internet, buying is a whole other level. he looked every bit of 6'4" in his videos though, maybe everyone around him was short or it was his long legs and short torso that made him look taller.

Probably also to do with playing in a defense coached by Peter Bosz.
Defending is an afterthought in most of the teams coached by him.

What’s it say?
Says Laurentiis wanted some of the money back after he signed Koulibaly from Genk and realised he was three inches shorter than he had read on the Internet
I hope people riot if this happens.
No thank you. Not what we need at all.
Good player but 3 or 4 years too late. No.
Think he’d be a great pick up personally
Buy him and sell him to Barca straight away for 30m.
Not sure about that. I hope Arteta isn't too stubborn for his own good. Seems like he's trying very hard to imprint his vision with select personnel and traits, all preconceived. Basing this off Mari, Soares, this rumor plus his use of DLPs and full-backs. Needs to (if he isn't) take into account his scouting network and the way the league is shaping as well. Otherwise he's capable of falling into the same traps as Emery, namely failing to translate theory to effective practice. Or perhaps this is Edu/Raul showing signs of convenience again.
The only plus I can think of is that Willian still has a bunch left in the gas tank, having been inconsistently used by Conte, Lampard and Sarri.
No. Why do we need this guy in our frontline? He will just eat Nelson’s minutes. He can go to Spurs.
Claudius wrote:Vieira San Gilberto must weep every time they sit down to watch us
Or piss themselves laughing.
You guys don’t seem to understand how far up shit creek we’re going to be in if we don’t champions league this year.
And Willian is going to help us get out of there?
Either him or Nelson.
I'll take Nelson. He actually knows how to play football.
We're not going to catch Chelsea and co by taking on players who aren't good enough for Chelsea and co.
Pretty much. What are we, their retirement home?
We're the club that allows players to sabotage us on matchdays merely days before they join those very opponents.
See Oxlade-Chamberlain and Petr Cech.
Willian wasn't even great in his prime.

Ox moving to Pool was the single greatest thing he's ever done for Arsenal FC.
