When we get pinned back, we struggle to break free. Need to be getting forwards playing on the shoulder more.

They pushed further up the pitch after our goal, started pressing more. Before that it was just Ayew on his own buzzing around our mids.

Not really about tactical switch. The ref was fucking terrible and kept buying their dives. Spoiled our momentum and turned scrappy.

I like that even after we gone down to 10 man, Arteta didn't bring on another defender to drop deep and concede all the space to them. We still maintain a threat on the counter and actually was closest to winning it

Tbh i haven't seen much difference compared to emerys early tenure. Some ok football, but the team still loses its way for large chunks of the game

We still struggle against teams that press high. That said Palace became too cynical and should have been punished. Lucky to score too, Leno didn't have much to do. Unfortunately, nor did the Palace keeper. We need to replace Ozil well. We need more creativity.

Terrible. We were also extremely unlucky (Luiz' block was good defending gone wrong).

That said, I do think we do look more solid than we did a few months ago. We are improving, which is good.

Ozil's passing being off didn't help either. Plus he kept being forced wide from the middle and getting throws. Killed the pace of our build up in the first half.

Sorry boss, just a general observation of comparison. 10 man, away from home, conceding pressure and space to opponents is what we used to do.

i'll be interested to see what arteta does in the summer. hes clearly just working with what he has now, but i expect we're going to see big changes.

Disappointed at his inability to keep it simple. Gives the ball away as much as alexis, but doesn't provide the same energy or attacking production. Can see why emery and arteta haven't viewed him as a must-start

Agree, in that early stage we did get results and often managed to get a reaction from the team in the 2nd half when we had struggled. Not much different right now
