Yep that's what I think too. Chambers is the one I'm missing. I'd rather have a winger who helps the fullback over Pepé's halfassedness at the moment though.

In Laca, Auba and Nelson, theoretically you have more than enough goals. In Nelson,Ozil and Xhaka, theoretically you have enough creativity. So it makes sense to sit Pépé. His defending against City was unforgivable. Him and Douzi need to learn to give more in both directions

Didn't know Chambers and Martinelli were unavailable, so that makes the team a bit more forgiveable. It also took Ljungberg three games to give up on Özil so it'd probably be too much to expect Arteta to do it in zero, especially since they even played together when Özil was still good.

Yes. And I think the young lads should be encouraged when they do well. Maitland-Niles and Nelson were good on the right flank. They were part of the reason Everton didn't have any shots on goal against us, and if Arteta is as clever as people think he is he will have told them to build on that. Going forward we lacked a bit of connectedness at Goodison, but Smith-Rowe was the big issue there I thought, and he's not starting today.
