There's a clash with another game locally so they moved it to Weds, and because they don't want it clashing with the CL they moved it to the afternoon.

Anyone who says we shouldn't be snobby about the EL should look at the fact that UEFA themselves barely respect the competition.

I like that team but think Emery cannot afford a disappointing result so will play more first team players.
Pepe may need game time after being dropped on the week-end so may start instead of Nelson who is coming back from an injury.

Nursing a groin injury for the better part of a season was a sure sign. He's out tonight with a calf injury apparently.

Mavropanos is the more interesting omission to me since he's actually back. He's starting for the U21 team (not U23) instead. If he had any hope of making it here you'd think we would at least include him in these Europa League squads.

He's missing today only as a precaution though due to a tight calf.

There's still plenty of time for him. Plenty of players have struggled with injuries at this stage of their career before their bodies adapt.

Nagelsmann is a piece of shit but he wasn't at Leipzig last season yet. Also from what I remember ESR was injured for the whole duration of his spell at Leipzig anyway
