Gnabry leaving our chaos was the best outcome for football. He would’ve gone the way of all our other young men in that era. I think Arteta and Edu will learn from those mistakes.
Barca really need to bomb busqiets and rakitic out of their midfield for more energetic players. Instead theyve gone and signed pjanic. Terrible recruitment
Other thing to learn for us is how many niggly fouls Bayern commit to break up the opponents attacking play.
Even Leipzig outfowled Atletico yesterday in the first half.
Seems like Barca's era is done, Messi can't do it alone and even he's slowing down. Will be interesting to see how/when they rebuild.
Have to admit, they look to be in shambles moving forward with only De Jong and Fati to build around.
This ref is shit

Under Emery we were actually the masters of niggly fouls. We are forced to do it because our team was always so dispersed and it was hard to contain counters by herding attackers
Arteta was the king of chicanery during his playing days. Im confident he'll impart the dark arts onto the squad

For sure, looking his best self last two CL games.
The big question is where do Barca go from here ?
The La Masia cupboard seems to be bare, the big signings have underwhelmed or flopped and Messi isn't going to last forever.
Bayern with Sane replacing Perisic would be even scarier next season if he recovers well from his ACL tear.

The fact they let Thiago go all those years ago says it all
This is what we got Willian for, boys and girls. Smooth, dynamic, incisive football.
Not one top athlete in this Barca side.
This Bayern team reminds me of the one under the great Jupp Hecknyes. Absolutely fluid in attack.
Bayerns defense has looked suspect all night though. Barca haven't tested them enough
Boateng sure knows how to make a fool of himself with those.
Boateng is the most posterised defender in history.
Davies, oh my god.
Bayern's fullbacks :gape:
Davies. Best young attacking LB ever. Fucks sake how many such crazy runs of assist does he do and only 19 ffs
