Top teams in Europe are dreadful at the moment.
Champions League 19/20
Ramsey with that familiar L16 exit feeling.
Happy for Lyon. Atalanta and Napoli need to follow suit.
If there is any year a small team could win the CL it will be this year.
No fans and one off games in neutral stadiums.
Could it be Man City’s year.
Varane went full David Luiz, you never go full David Luiz. At least Luiz cand pass the ball...

I’d give up my left nut for that boy. Love his balance and composure on the ball. You need that in the middle of the park.
Another player that I mentioned about in 2019 and we missed out on lol (as well as Renan Lodi).
I think we noticed him around the same time. Clrnc has been raving about him for about 3 years. He’s a superior talent.

Oh I meant Guimares, not Aouar. But yeah, both are great haha.
Lol.
That was such a devastating loss for Juventus. I think it’s time for them to get Pochettino and a new transfer chief. Sarri needs to go open a smoking den somewhere and relax.
Squad needs an overhaul. They can probably keep Szczesny, De Ligt, Demiral, Betancur, Bernardeschi, Rabiot, Melo, Kulusevski, Correia, Dybala
Ronaldo is still good for 25 goals but sucks up 5x as much salary as a single player. If there’s a buyer, would sell, it’s a bad contract.
Everyone else is tradeable. Mostly old and busted.
I think they should keep Ronaldo Claude, no one else besides Ronaldo has scored in the UEFA CL knockout round in the last two years! If they lost him, they'd have no one who's that much of a goal threat.
They can find other ways to cut money. Higuain is geriatric at the moment. They pay Higuain, Khedira, Matutidi, D. Costa, and Ramsey a total of 915k pounds a week!

Maxime Caqueret was very good too. Never heard of him before had to look him up. Shocked that he had only played 8 games till now and is yet another youth product to break through. Where do Lyon keep finding these guys?
It certainly helps them that they have the monopoly over a large population in Lyon (one of most populated metros in France).
Other thing to note is that even when they were suffering financially, they have made sure that financial resources going into scouting and their academy have not been affected.

They’re tossing money into a hole with those 3 guys.
I know Cristiano scores goals. He’s an elite player. But he is on €30m after tax. Imagine the squad building possibilities. They shot their shot with him. This squad won’t win champions league next year. They’re not good enough. The whole point of buying Cristiano was to win champs league. Now that that window has closed, they should sell. Note that I think he’s still their best player. It just doesn’t make sense.
Ronaldo is still class but I do think they've become a lesser side since they started routing so much football through him. Dybala, who just got elected Serie A player of the year, is clealy a superior player (let alone a decade younger) and someone they should build their attack around. That's not going to happen as long as Ronnie is there though.
Their issue is that he's literally impossible to sell unless PSG decide to pull a PR stunt.
Sarri fired by Juve
Not surprising.
Arteta linked by Italian media
I think Poch is the guy they'll probably should go for but the safe option is probably to bring Allegri back.
Conte also rumored to go back to Juve with Allegri taking the reigns at Inter.
Sporting director Paratici is rumored to have been sacked following the loss to Lyon.
Another left field link is actually Zidane.
He has a lot of history with the club and it is no secret that he is well liked by Agnelli's.

Fair points Claude. In this current market where the likes of Osimhen is worth like 60-70m euros, Juve is going to have to spend a boatload on a superstar attacker. There's a Juventus fan named Nicolo Zaniolo who they might target...
Haha funny how they dumped Sarri after their players and management boasted how winning Serie A was the most important thing and how winning 10 straight Serie A's is harder than winning a UCL.
