What a slipup by Morata ! That should have been 2-0.

Good to see Moratta is still completely useless.

You think? I'd like Liverpool to go out.

Strong like Drogba, runs like Henry and shoots like van Persie. What a player.

Takw a bow Haaland what a fucking goal

Partey is class

Bloody game is nerve-wracking. I need a 2-0 score line.

Haaland has 37 goals and 6 hattricks this season and only 19. Fucking hell

Atletico won despite Pool’s possession. Hopefully, they can grab a goal at that dump called Anfield

Dude, how high are you? It’s mid February. That’s 2 seasons worth of goals. Damn!!

Haaland is what Bendtner saw when he looked in the mirror.

Costa and Atletico is a match made in hell. I can't help but love their shithousery.

😆

That second Haaland goal was absurd.

Not a single shot on target.

Their coordination and composure on defense was a joy. Kept shape and knew when to step up and double team.

Shades of Robin Van Persie on that one.

Lodi and Partey were a class above tonight, rest were workhorses mostly. Atletico paying Chelsea 120m for Morata and a broken Costa for 120m should have seen both Cerezo and Gil Marin sacked and shot.

Partey in our midfield would be  he's always been really talented but he's reached that world class status and the confidence that comes with it shows. Three Pool players on him and he's as relaxed as on a training pitch

Only started watching the football tonight after the first half but after reading the first half comments made sure to watch the Dortmund PSG game.

No way was I about to start watching the Atletico game with them already one up. The only outcome of that would have been being bored to death by a defensive masterclass or by seeing Liverpool score (both of which I'd rather not see this late in the evening.

Also there's no way Pool aren't juiced to the gills. The amount of sprints especially from the full backs is a joke, 80% of their attacking play comes through them too. Robertson started about a 100 league and CL games in the last 24 months and the guy never stops running. Not even subtle about it

it's surreal watching them tear around the pitch chasing everything in the last 10 minutes. haven't seen anything like it

Renan Lodi is excellent.

I swear Bryant should just go and be a scout with all these hits.

Just realised Haaland got more UCL goals this season than Barca 😆

Haaland was incredible but Sancho is such an influential player. So much of that offense was going through him. Kept The PSG back line on their toes. He just has that work rate, movement and desire, along with quality in his work. Would be great if he stayed another season in Germany.

Also the guy who gave Haaland the assist for the second goal is Claudio Reyna’s son. Giovanni is 17. He controlled the ball and turned in a single motion and a second later was releasing Haaland for that strike. One for the future. Could represent both USA and Argentina

It's strange how little attention and praise Veratti gets. Easily the best midfielder in the world imo.

Jadon Sancho embarrassed him a few times yesterday

Noticed him in the past few Dortmund match. Very good talent, natural on the ball and dribbling pretty top

He is also a bit thick and very temperamental if you see the way he got himself booked and suspended for the second leg.

😆 look at this rattled dickhead

Also eligible to play for England by birth.

Re Robertson: he is a proper dickhead, scummy player. However, not much there if you watch the interview. He basically repeated the exact phrase of the question posed.

I think it's a great mentality and quote. Putting the pressure on Atletico when it should be on the team who's down.

Not a single Atletico player will hear his comments

Really? I read the transcripts and he kept moaning about Atletico players falling down at every chance and how their goal wasn't even a chance. I don't care what players say generally speaking, they're barely literate idiots at best but in no way or form is it a good mentality to talk about how the opposition didn't do anything after you lost a game and had zero chances to speak of yourselves.

Also talking about "Premier League business to take care of" when you're 25 points clear and have nothing but the CL to focus on is pretty concrete proof that he's sore 😆

Watching Leipzig vs Spurs. Other than the games against Frankfurt, Leipzig haven't been too bad this year, so hopefully, they can do a job.

Halstenberg, Ampadu and Klosterman at the back for Leipzig. So Spurs aren't the only team that can complain about injury woes. Upamecano played in his 100th game for the club on the weekend, so not sure where he is today

Wow! RB Leipzig starting with about 3 or 4 shots in the first 2 minutes.
Didn't realise that Angelino was still a City player. Thought they had sold him to PSV Eindhoven. He's very good, but a bit short.

Atalanta are a goal up against Valencia. Really hope they win. One of the most entertaining teams in Europe right now.
