Rodrygo the youngest player to ever score a hattrick in the Champions League. Also scored the quickest brace ever, with 6 minutes and 14 seconds into the match.

Edit: Raul was younger.

I quite like the look of Rodrygo. He's the more natural footballer vs. Vinicius; better finishing, passing, decision making.

Probably will spur Real into dropping ungodly amounts of $$$ on future Brazilian kids.

Brazilian kids are ridiculous. Just see how Martinelli made that transition from amateur football in some 3rd division regional league seamlessly to here.

Speaking of Martinelli, he had a beautiful move, some close control to wriggle free of two Vitoria defenders in the bottom corner of the penalty box yesterday. The guys technical skill is some of the best on our team, maybe just below Ozil. It's so frustrating seeing someone like him starved of the football

Spurs 2-0 down at home in 20 minutes

I feel like your post doesn't say what it's trying to.

Spuds 0-2 at new Shite Hart Pain.

That VAR decision in the PSG game was absolutely abysmal.

Abysmal from the Olympiakos defender 😆

Just seen that Dybala strike! Xhaka-like.

Missing a key word there

Did you guys see the VAR penalty reversal in the PSG-Real game. The referee initially judged Courtois to have fouled a PSG player outside the box so immediately awarded a free kick on the edge plus a red card. The replay showed it was in the box. The referee spent a long time at the monitor, the assumption being he would give a penalty and reverse the card and give a penalty per the double jeopardy guidelines. Instead, he awarded areal a free kick for a slight push on Marcelo that had happened at the halfway line about 5 seconds before the penalty incident. I was sitting in a plane. I burst out laughing so hysterically I thought we were going to have a troublesome passenger incident

Like one of the guys in the studio said, was more of a gust of wind than a push.

Chelsea so, so bad defensively. Should be 3-0 to Valencia by now. Although Kepa should have saved the goal Valencia do have.

And as I type Kovacic scores a somewhat lucky goal. Cillesen's a joke not to cover that at his near post. 1-1.

And now Kovacic misses a sitter after lovely work by Pulisic to set him up.

Despite their defensive frailties, don’t you think their passing play is day and night compared to us ?

Southampton's passing play is better than ours right now.

Chelsea are a just a team in good form with everything going for them at the moment. We played some decent stuff this time last season or even when we smacked this same Valencia side last April.

They will come crashing at some point because they're really not very good and are just the pits defensively.

Surely Valencia have got to score soon? They've got Chelsea penned in, attempt after attempt, but it just won't go in.

Chelsea is the luckiest side in this year UCL. Snatched 4 points when they should have had 0 against Ajax. Got a lucky win against Lille and now Valencia miss an absolute sitter in the last minute to win the game

Watching Salzburg for Sozovbolaiz and he is so lightweight.

Minamino and Hwang is very impressive though. Haven't seen Liverpool goal being peppered like this for a while now

Clear handball by Henderson to block a goal bound shot. VAR doesn;t even spot it.

Are we supporting Chelsea or not tonight?

I assume to avoid them in the EL. Looking at the CL matches we'd struggle more with Ajax though, but ideally for us Valencia would come down.

Slavia Prague is a pretty good side. Really unlucky to be drawn into the group of death.

Wow. How’s Ajax going to Europa? Maybe their manager needs a different challenge. Immediately

They're just not that good after getting picked apart this summer. They'll regroup in a year or two probably but this was always going to be a transitional season for them.

True. Doesn’t help that they were absolutely shafted in one match that they were dominating. Drogba would call that a fucking disgrace

I just hate the idea of 4 English clubs going through. Pool look favorites to repeat. And if they fail, the other 3 could all be handy

That Fati kid is something else. Inter in the EL then.

They still absolutely should be in the next round instead of Fat Frank and the scum.

Unreal how bad refs have favoured Chelsea. They should be on something like two or three points instead they're through

Yeah. The 2 matches against Ajax, VAR robbed Ajax daylight. 6 points become 1 point.

More likely he just let a silent one rip then tried blow the smell away from himself.

City always seem to be at the wrong side of the VAR calls.

Through to the knockout rounds now. Big respect to Gasperini for the way he has transformed them in just a few short years.

Bonkers group. Atalanta who had 1 point after 4 matches qualify.
