What was missing - for a long, long time - is ambition.
We're all following the team, but how long can you persist with all the rituals when deep down you know the club is really not up for it?
I don't think this year will be a particularly successful one. It'll take another year for the results.
But what is clear now, and that is the biggest things about recent events (trnsfr window, etc.), is that it is no longer the BS game we've been playing for some years now. We are back at the races.
And that can get you excited, and back following the team with all of your heart, even if disappointments are still ahead.
I was so tired of everything in the last couple of years, it sometimes took an extra effort to actually watch the games. But the buzz is finally back.
