He's from the Isle of Man, thats kind of weird.
Lol, what's weird about that?
Its just a weird place full of weirdos.

Thats alright so. Should be hard as nails so.
We've missed having a dynamic left-back. I think this guy, if he stays fit, is going to be a star.
He seems to think he's not far off being ready, going by his arsenal.com
Already working with the ball. Assuming all the chronic injury talk is overstated, this is looks a good deal in key area of weakness
Like for like ramsey replacement. ..baby face dept
Not watched him play but hope he's decent and not a permacrock. Didn't expect to upgrade left back this summer.
Welcome aboard, kid. Just stay healthy.
Is there any reason, outside of this surgery he’s recovering from, you seem to think he’s the Rosicky of left backs?
40, 55, 40 and 33 games each year since he broke into the first team would indicate he probably isn’t.

He doesn’t have a history of injuries. This current issue has been problematic but shouldn’t be a long term thing as far as I know.

What is wrong with Charlie Nicholas? Really strange quotes, everything he's said here.

Good to know. There was some worrying detail in the transfer thread about the effect this injury had had on others, I think from Tim. Just trying not to expect too much and get burned!

Is it though?
A player who signed for one of the Spanish teams back in the day put it best when he said. I never valued myself at 50M (or whatever it was). Someone else did that so the pressure is on them I'll play my game.
Have a feeling of all the players we've signed this summer, he's the one who's going to have the biggest impact on this club.
Welcome to The Arsenal.

Yep. Previous high was 19.7m received for Dembele
No, I mean - is it really that much pressure? It's just a quirk of the market but in the grand scheme of things it's generally being viewed as a bargain.
I think he meant in terms of it being a huge weight upon his shoulders. I don't agree with that, and I don't think Mirth does either.

Fuck him. His compatriot follows in his footsteps moving from Celtic to Arsenal and all he worries about is why United didn't fancy him. Every other club has their delusional scum spouting garbage delusions of grandeur on TV while our former players either belittle us or are straight up lunatics like Merse or Sol.
Good signing though
That 'article' reads hideously and looks like a chop job.
Charlie Nicholas isn't that bad, you can at least normally tell he's an Arsenal fan even if his views are off sometimes. Alan Smith is something else though.
