A clown off the pitch as well as on it.

What the fuck is that video about? Luiz does what hes coached to do and finds the correct position the player attacking has more momentum and wins the header.

We blame our players for not having awareness so it's fair to blame him for not having awareness.

Was expecting this to be a thread dedicated to David Ornstein.

So was i 😆

Could be a great signing, but we're still potentially a defender short.

Yep, considering kos was on strike we've made the best of a bad situation.

They clearly wanted to do more but when they're after a 20 year old there is no point panicking. Luiz is a good stop gap until they sort a long term fix.

Theres so much trust in our ambitions suddenly after this window, really great to see. Wenger has never ever done a madness in so many positions like this

Started 36 games for Chelsea last season, in a back four too. Think he'll be an able signing, strikes me as someone who ups his game a level when he has a point to prove

Definition of a bullet header. Played out of his skin that night

He'll score against Chelsea this season.

Pros

His distribution
Free kicks
Better than Mustafi
More left in him than Kos
Short term, cheapish deal
Has matured a bit
Shown a bit of leadership recently
Gets on well with Emery

Cons

Still error prone
Has an annoying face
Bit of a cheat

Bit of a cheat is a plus for me especially if he does it against cunts

I thought he was very good last season. I was surprised.

I put his excellence under Conte down to the 3 man defence, but I came to the conclusion last season that I had just been underestimating him and that the last couple of years he's been in his prime now and has cut out a lot of the rash moments he used to have.

Sidepoint - why do people think Luiz gets on with Emery? Didn't he leave shortly after Emery joined?

This guy is an excellent passer.
