This is really a new era.
Apart for the obvious excitement about actually signing player we need, and perhaps as important, there’s a clear sense of being back - not just going through the motions, preparing the excuses for why doing the bare minimum didn’t work, there’s real ambition there. We are back at the races.
That also makes me take this day relatively relaxed- knowing we really did all we could, and if there are still players we aim to get, they me be coming here later (upamecano, etc.).
Been years since I felt this way.
