I think Laca in the middle with Auba left and Pepe right will be great when fit and firing, they all bring something different to the table, but let’s see.
Think perhaps in time we need to get rid of Laca and Auba for decent balance

I suspect the timing of those changes may be subject to either an offer we can't refuse and/or the progress from the likes of Nelson/ESR/Saka & Nketiah.
Perhaps, but that's a first world problem. We have plenty of work to do before we look at fine tuning the front line
Love his directness, pace, quick feet and trickery.

Liverpool didn't sacrifice Coutinho for balance though. They did it because he'd wanted out for ages and they were offered insane money. If we are to let a player like Laca go it has to be at the right price and that means about as much as we paid for Pepe.
Whatever the case, his exit allowed Klopp to build a team with the right balance. He wouldn’t have this machine with Coutinho. He’s have ‘Ozil’ problems with the guy.
Well the re-invested the money in VVD and Alisson which really changed how solid they are. Their balance wouldn't count for much without that, hence my point that it only works if the price is right. To get a Laca replacement next summer would mean someone who could transition into our main man with a season or 2 as Auba ages out. That doesn't come cheap these days.
Agree. Ideally we’d get £60m+ for Laca and put that into a winger. I’m desperate to see what Tierney and the lesser spotted Bellerin add to the team as well. If we can get a decent squad (with an actual plan) together from the Watford game, then we would be in good shape. Especially if we can beat Spurs

Ozil leaving is no comparison to Coutinho leaving as they got €90 million + his wages whereas all we will get from Ozil is having to pay up the remainder of his wages which is over £35 million unless some Chinese club does a madness.

You seem lost here.
Pepe has the most take ons in the league, refreshing to finally have a winger who can dribble and is explosive, puts defenders on the back foot.
It's not just that he can dribble, he's unnaturally good at drifting past people.
Looks comfortable on his left and right, which is why it was surprising that he fucked that one on one by trying to come into his left in an unnatural position.
He loves that inside of the foot finish on his left. He's outstanding at it so I see why, but he loves it too much and needs to get confident finishing in a variety of different ways. Including his right foot, which is definitely more than just a swinger for him.
I think he just had a bit too much time so the pressure got to him. He did everything else right, including switching it onto his stronger foot as he beat his man.
He scored a similar goal he scored against PSG, it wasn't a great finish, and most keepers could have stopped that, as it wasn't either side, but he seemed confident with the finish. Similar situation against Pool, unfortunately was saved.
Whatever the reason he had a better chance to finish on his right and should have gone with it. It’s something I’m sure the coaching staff will be working on to give him similar levels of confidence in his finishing ability on either foot.
It was a poor finish. Score that and it pegs Liverpool back and has them in two minds about the high press. Game could have been very different. He could have gone with the right foot , hit it a bit wider of the keeper or chip it over him . He hit it weakly and straight .
