Impressive by Brighton & Hove to win 3-0 away to Watford. Some really good attacking football at display too. Potter will surprie people this season.

His my pick for surprise of the season. Some very smart signings as well.

Do well and take over Emery next season.

It's an incredible start for your man Potter, mate. I heard the Brighton fans can't believe the difference in football from last season.

Yeah, English fans still don't appreciate just how good he is. If they did he'd be managing a top club right now. He's genuinely one of the most intelligent football managers I've seen. A young Wenger would have been proud of what Potter did in Swedish football. It wasn't a case of finding a good, ambitious club either. He went to the most remote shithole in the north where they have ten months of winter every year to manage a club in the bottom division that was founded in 1996 and couldn't even afford their own match kits. The people up there are the equivalent of the wildlings on Game of Thrones.

That was a brilliant ball from Ndombele.

Villa is a well coached team. Will be handy this season

😆

I wonder if we'd be brave enough to give him a job once Emery is gone.

Does Ndombele always give the impression that he is coasting?

Definitely not the most defensively clued player is he?

Their pace on the break looks like the kind of thing that we'll struggle with.

That's one big criticism of him in the past in Ligue 1. He often perform well in big matches but doesn't turn up for matches he thinks is too easy.

In short, he is always inconsistent and need a coach to kick his butt

I will be keeping a close eye on him. He really does appear very credible. Intrigued to see what sort of style he plays exactly and how he brings on some of the younger Brighton players he'll be working with.

Hahahaha right in front of goal and Sissoko hits it so wide it went out for a throw in.

What a miss. I'd have scored that myself.

From reading this, it seems Tottenham have missed numerous sitters. Which probably means it's a matter of time before they do score.

Villa still a threat going forward?

McGinn is tenacious as fuck

Tottenham have had chances (as you'd expect) but Villa are threatening on the break. I'd say Spurs are more likely to score at this point but I also won't be surprised if villa get a 2nd. Pretty good game

Tottenham weren't creative in the first half at all. The two Kane chances were offside. Tottenham trying to force the issue more this half.
