United’s predicted lineup for Southampton looks like a League Cup or Europa Cup 6th match selection. If they’re doing this regularly, they’ll be in for a long season. No way Pogba can entertain leaving under these circumstances

I feel Southampton could easily get something from this - they were decent against Liverpool till Mane's worldie.

This bloody David James, or whatever his name is, scored 4 goals in the Championship last year, yet is banging them in for United already.

Better be nothing more than a purple patch.

Pretty sure it's just a purple patch. Goals aside he has looked average. No chance he keeps this up.

Southampton so poor. This United side is there for the taking and it looks like they're going to get tonked instead.

Something about James though, he may not be at a good level yet but he is fearless and giving it everything. We need Nelson to play like this without the handbrake.

Awful from Adams. Needed to keep his cool instead of slashing at it like a horror movie villain. Both teams are awful. Doesn’t matter how high United finish. Emery CANNOT finish below them. New KPI

Southampton are really lacking in quality, if United are struggling this badly against them they're going to have a difficult season.
