Liverpool are just an incredible side right now. League has been sewn up for a while so they don't have try put much effort in it and can focus a bit more on retaining the champions League. I wonder if they will pay much attention to the looming records. They don't have a run in that looks likely to threaten it much more now.

They have a pretty tedious run in if we're talking records. Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Derby and a couple mid-table punchers. They are starting to show signs of physical toll and I think the tree with fall in due time.

Really enjoyed watching Wijnaldum play today. MOTM for me. Seemed like it rubbed off on Fred who showed up in the last third of the game.

AFCON will gut them of mane, salah and keita. if they blow through that without dropping points, then i'll believe the PED tin-foil theory because their ludicrous form is quite frankly rubbing me the wrong way

When is AFCON though, it's not this year is it.

As much as I dislike Liverpool doing well and wish they weren't being successful they are just a very good team and probably the best in the world right now.

If you had to choose one between:
(A) We hand Liverpool their one loss this season, but end up relegated thus preserving our legacy
or
(B) We qualify for Europa league, but Liverpool become invincible as well, defeating us and obliterating our record in the process.

Which would you take?

Liverpool had a clear plan in place well before Klopp came in. I remember speaking to someone at the club and they'd put an insane amount of resources into finding young players with huge potential. And then had a clear plan to get klopp to develop those players. Rather than someone like emery who manages the players rather than coaching them.
