I dont know what happened , but Suarez and Vardy were the two striker signings we really messed up. Sometimes you just have to push harder, no matter how dickheaded Liverpool were about it.

Leicester's transitions are out of this world.

Leicester depth is good too. Can afford to rest Barnes and Perez, but in their place comes Praet and Iheanacho.

Who would have thought the counter attacking Vardy could be so good in a possession based football too.

I really like that he always finds a way to get involved, can win the ball back, is tidy on the ball and his crosses are amazing. Much better than what we have at the moment.

He's in decent form but he spent a lot of this season looking shit. I don't think he's any better than the players we have already and he's older than most of them.

I like Grealish but the fee for an English player like him will be insane, probably way more than he's worth compared to who else you'd be able to get in Italy or France for similar money.

Also fair point. He's 25 at the start of next season. At that age he has to be able to hit the ground running or we'd barely get anything out of him on the pitch. If it takes him a season or two to get to the required level and he starts to tails off at 29 then we've had a proper midfielder for like two years.

Or he does hit the ground running and we get 4-5 years out of him. We certainly wouldn't be risking the kind of teething problems that Pepe has suffered.

It feels like we have no option but to take these kind of risks. I'm not sure if Grealish is definitely the answer, but he seems to have a winning mentality at least.

He reminds me of David Silva a lot, the way he loves to draw defenders and play all the 1-2s while being able to keep the ball.

The operative word being 'or' here. I'm just not sure he'll make the step up that effortlessly. He could just as easily turn out to be another Lallana. Maybe he'll show some more improvement throughout the season though.

Auba, because when Vardy played in a dysfunctional Leicester side after their title win he scored like 6 or 7 goals in 30 games and then padded the stats towards the end so it didn't look houseboat bad.

Auba has scored more goals than anyone else since he arrived in England, and that's despite the shit show that has been Arsenal throughout most of that time.

Aubameyang would score an eye watering number of goals with the way this Leicester side play.

He's the only striker in the League that would outscore Vardy if he took his place.

I think they are quite even personally. There are a lot of games Auba went disappeared and got a lot of criticism, Vardy could have been more of a nuisance up front pressing the hell out of defenders for us. He could have scored more goals in a team like us, or he could have stink up the place if we don't play to his strengths. Hard to tell but I would say both of them + Aguero is comfortably the 3 best in the league
