Pulisic destroyed Gomez there.
Great goal?
VAR!

Does that make Pulisic the greatest player in history? :brow:

Liverpool struggling to dominate without Trent Alexander-Arnold's attacking input.
Salah seems half the player with his attacking foil missing.

1-1
I still think this chelsea team is much better than the one that faced manu as Kanté, Giroud & Pulisic are much better than Mount, Barkley & Abraham.

Firmino has been a massive upgrade on our boy the Ox. Liverpool look so dangerous now.

So true.
It's sometimes hard to see what Firminho does but he is crucial to the way Liverpool play.
Like a switch being turned on, Mane becomes deadly.

Hard to watch when i'm not sure which team i hate more.

Chelsea is really a pretty impressive team with the quality of personnel they have. Lampard have the sign of a good coach.

Yeah. They're constructing decent attacking patterns.
But you can see the offensive maturity that Liverpool have when they have the ball. Their attackers are like a band in sync. It's so good to see. Remember when we used to have that kind of fluency under Wenger?

Oxlade-Chamberlain apparently had a stinker? Man I love this game.

Only two games. Half my family are from Derby and they say he barely improved them in a year.

I like this ref.
She is so much better than the rubbish we have to deal with in the Premiership.
For our next match, we've got Mike Dean putting in another of his hollywood auditions!

He may as well have been eating the grass. Didn't do anything footballistically.
I wouldn't pay 5m pounds for him.

She's been very professional. I wonder if it helps that the players have no relationship with her. Potentially seeing the same big name refs often at big games might lead superstars to believe that they have the right to engage them on decisions. They might be thinking let's stay out of this strange woman's way. She might act crazy.

Nah. She is better than them. Full stop.

Mané is such a remarkable finisher.

ohhh.. i disagree with that call by the ref

Looks a tough penalty. Goalie seemed to withdraw arms.

I don't think I noticed that the red was female until the penalty. That either means that I haven't been paying attention or that she hasn't been in the spotlight, something that's a great compliment for a ref.

I'm not sure about that foul and would have liked to see a different angle.
Anyway, pre VAR, it would be a pen so no complaints.
