Haha, United have just been taken to penalties by Rochdale.

Upsets do happen in cup competitions

Beautiful rabona cross for Reading's goal today

They can't even beat bloody Rochdale at OT? Wow

They’re due a bounce back performance

We usually oblige when teams are in this level of funk. Less and less confident.

Nah Rochdale is battling relegation 2 divisions below. And they still had few chances in goal at OT.

They struggled to beat Astana the other day and only have 4 goals outside of that freak Chelsea game this season.

This is a whole new low.

Well, now I know we're doomed.

It will be bitter sweet, as we'll probably end Ole's career if we batter them like we should.

@[deleted] I honestly don't think it would be worth it points wise to beat them if that was the case, but he'll get fired eventually anyway so better just take the three points.

That has to be grounds for the club to sue him surely.

After being subbed, Ganso told the Fluminense coach, Oswaldo de Oliveira, "You are stupid" and "donkey for c***".
Oswaldo called the player a "bum" and members of the technical team had to hold them both back.

Ganso proceeded to tell his coach that he was "dumb as fuck" and then began to give instructions to his teammates from the bench.

Fluminense FC have now dismissed the coach and fined/issued a warning to the player for his attitude.

malen with another two goals today. its early october and he already scored 14 goals in all competitions

Lyon have sacked Sylvinho after a very bad start to their season.

Aulas reached out to Mourinho but says he has a job commitment lined up. Some rumors it may be in England, but I think R.Madrid is a possibility.

Also didn't know Sylvinho was in management; hope he bounces back.

I think he'll end up back in Italy.

Seems a league on the rise again, and there's quite a flux in coaches.

Interesting you mention Real Madrid. Every time. I watch their games, I feel like I'm still watching Emery. Zidane is in the same Whatsapp group of managers who are riding their luck to a good league position. You can see the effect of having Ronaldo and some other players at the peaks of  their careers when he first arrived. He's not imposing any identifiable systematic attacking patterns. It's awful

Come on! Surely it should be obvious by now that the players largely dictate attacking patterns, and that Zidane is largely at the mercy of his players.

I worry for someone if they watched a Real Madrid team (C. Ronaldo/Modric/Ramos/Kroos at peak) coached by Zidane in 2016, and a Real Madrid team (Hazard/whoever/whoever) coached by Zidane in 2019, and the conclusions they draw regarding the second edition are any of the following; poor mentality, poor coaching, poor tactics, poor formations, poor attacking patterns etc.

Isn't that exactly what he's saying? That Zidane only has a name in the manager world because of the players he inherited.

Kasper Schmeichel just had one of the best goal keeping performances I've ever seen against Switzerland. 4 unreal saves.

Norway just drew against Spain, but we really deserved the win. Hopefully this is the team that will play from now on, plus maybe Haaland.

Just saw this goal, absolutely brilliant first touch

Mings and Winks started for England? Really?

Have they been any good?

Why is there is so much hype behind Declan Rice ?

I have not seen anything extraordinary whenever I have seen him play for either England or West Ham.

But it's England that have a racist problem. Because of multiculturalism.

What a bunch of pricks. Ban them and fine them. The only place where football association lackeys have nerve endings is in their pocket books.

Soyuncu looks like another one we missed out on. He was excellent tonight against France.

Also love how Sterling absolutely steps up and smashes scum when he encounters it. Elite mentality.

Balakov was my favourite footballer growing up for a while, incredibly talented on the ball. Embarrassed hear his response, not only did he hear nothing also England is worse when it comes to racism. Why do these dickheads in these situations always say a) there was no racism and b) your racism is much worse than ours? Hows that even make sense ffs.
