malen and gnabry huh. pffffffffffft
General Football 19/20
Bloke's been extraordinary over the last two years.
The striker still had a bit to do but it wouldn't even matter if he had missed as it's all about that pass!
Thats easily the best pass I have seen since Kaka in UCL final.
Ilicic is never in doubt. Seen some ridiculously sick skills from him

really nice pass but how the fuck is that not defendable? The defender is literally in front of the striker at one point!
De Bruyne with a hat trick of assists. This boy is operating on his own level.
Might be the best in the world at the moment.
For a hat trick of assists vs Scotland, a team his mate Tielemans said is at the same level as San Marino?
I'm assuming that isn't the sole reason for Jed's comment.
The first assist was an easy lay off, the second was a good cross and the third a corner where Alderweireld did most of the work. Not saying he isnt in great form at the moment but he might as well have played against an U16 side Scotland were that dreadful.
I meant more that he's probably saying it not only because of this game, but because of his general performances this season. "Best in the world" is a misleading title to hold at the moment when Messi and Neymar haven't played in the league yet anyway.

Come on, obviously it’s not just for his performance vs Scotland.
We need a Michael Owen thread. What have we done to deserve humble, self-aware, perceptive and wise man?

I'd like to think Zidane doesn't even remember who Owen is
First game back, 0-0 at 90 minutes and Neymar does this.
Atletico lost 2-0 to la Real, with Monreal scoring a goal !
Anoeta is going to be even more intimidating now that the running track is gone
Lord only knows where Barcelona finds these kids, while we are here talking about Nelson.
This Ansu Fati kid looks so mature in his play. Kinda ridiculous really
Actually La Masia has been failing for the last 6-7 years in producing first team players.
The only recent academy graduate who has made some kind of consistent impact is Sergi Roberto.
They produce a shed ton and of nicely technical players who aren't quite ready or able to impose that on an international level. Not too dissimilar to a certain north London academy.
Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere but donyell malen scored 5 goals for PSV
Gnabry and malen both victims of the wenger/gazidis dotage era

They now have Carles Perez and Ansu Fati. The latter especially is pretty darn good and only 16.
Malen and Jeff doing very well away, Monreal scored on his debut as well. Odegaard has caught my eye everytime I watch Real Sociedad.
Even as someone who's had an immense interest in Ødegaard's career he's impress more than expected. I'd want us to sign him without a doubt.
To do this as a last minute winning goal in a derby wow
Still remember this goal by him as well. Capable of some good stuff apparently.
I remember that one too. Ridiculous player. He could have had a big career if he'd stayed in Europe.
That Haaland guy you mentioned previously Klaus is absolutely on fire. First half hattrick with class finish
Chelsea will finish third in their group and knock us out of the Europa again.
Suarez has been unbelievably shit tonight. Cant control a single ball.
Eat a dick Liverpool
Watching Jeff being Lyon's best player makes me so mad. Years and years of Arsenal mismanagement just keeps taking the piss out of you every week.

Really interesting player. His dad is that bloke Roy Keane ruined a knee for in the early 00s.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching Napoli score twice in a small space of time against Liverpool. 2-0
Ancelloti and players...Well done.

Yeah he was awesome. The game is so easy for him, very natural abilities. Would be disappointed with his own bad miss in the 2nd half but in Bennacer, Gnabry, Malen and him that's pretty much about 150m worth of talents gone to waste
Didn’t watch the Napoli game, but what were they able to do that our fearful manager and players won’t do against Liverpool. I keep hearing “its Liverpool, a guaranteed loss for us!”
same thing they did last season. managed liverpools pressing with a combination of bravery, good spacing, and technical ability. a draw would've been a fairer reflection of the game though

So people really say that when we play against Liverpool at the Emirates? I feel like we rarely lose to them there.
We probably just about outplayed them last year although we got lucky with the mane 'goal'. Draw was about right.
Liverpool away from Anfield are not particularly scary and this season they aren't looking anywhere near as solid defensively than they did last season even before they lost Alisson. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we beat them at the Emirates and said as much right after we lost to them at Anfield.

Youtube just recommended me this. Compilation of his first 4 matches this season. Still only 20 ffs. Let's sign him and Haaland
