You've clearly forgotten all about this man!
Everton Soares

The hair is bang out of order. Makes me question his priorities. What kind of person spends their money on a neck tattoo when their forehead has already started to blur the definitions of fore and back?
Honestly he'd be a change for once. We need someone with a nasty streak which he obviously has with that garbage haircut and ass ugly tattoos
Goal are reporting that we've agreed a transfer for 36m
No, they're summarizing news.
It's on goal. They're reporting it. The position of transfer police is already taken mate.
Edit: To be honest G89's been slacking recently.
Yeah but HomeSteak is proving a very capable Deputy.

HomeSteak has been a huge improvement, imo

Not sure if you're serious, but since the official site Arsenal.com does Media Watch articles I guess that means they report all sorts of transfers that don't happen.
Ok I'll play along if it makes you happy. Goal are reporting that some other sources are reporting that we have agreed a transfer for Everton. Now shoosh up.
Just because you only read the headlines doesn't mean I need to let others be tricked as well. I'll shoosh up when I feel like it.
Actually believe this is happening.
That guy is supposedly fairly reliable.

Yes I'm sure many on the forum were tricked by my devious post. But congratulations. The job of transfer police was taken so you just took on the dual role of forum pedant and resident pointless knob. Well done you.
I guess congratulations are in order both ways, truly a savage post you managed to put together.
As the forum pedant I must say that being in permanent phone contact with someone, anyone really, sounds exhausting.

Ouch. Vicious.
He just started following Martinelli on Instagram. Yup, it's happening.
This is definitely happening, huh? I'm just not that excited. He does have electric acceleration, and I'm pleased to see he's got a nice clean strike with some power behind it. Seems pretty robust as well. I worry he'll be very flakey, I don't have a great sense of his passing or decision making, and he's a bit flavorless when it comes to flair/attitude/style from what little I've seen.
Probably a good smart buy for a club in our position, just not Pepe or Zaha. And such shit hair.
he'd take time to adapt physically before he starts making an impact. probably will be eased in for the first 6 months
I think he is ready to go. Put him in the mix straight away while he is still on a good streak of form. Waiting 6 months could be detrimental.

To be fair, there are very few traditional wingers that aren't flaky; it's the nature of their position, in that their job is effectively high risk, high reward. It just depends on how flaky he is.

I think so too as he has never played in winter.
Rinse his decent form till December then save him for the run in.
He has that look about him that would rile up opposition fans.
I'm pretty happy about this. Save up some money as compared to Zaha for a younger player and then we can afford to spend more on CB
Haha, we're not buying a CB for this coming season. Sadly.
Everton doesn't look half as good as Zaha from the little I've seen of him. Perhaps a better finsiher; there's some good ones in his showreels, but his dribbling, speed and capacity to make repeated sprints look levels below Zaha to my eyes, and I think that's more what we need in the team right now.
GrĆŖmio manager says that Everton will most likely leave this summer
He said this before the Copa America, but still.
Simon Jones of the Mail: Arsenal bid to get Dani Ceballos loan signing from Real Madrid over the line while they also step up interest in Ā£32m Brazil winger Everton Soares.
A lot of journalists in brazil(some very reliable)are reporting this, but in the UK only the mail and Sky, goal have picked it up.
Iād prefer Zaha too Tricks. Feels like heād have a bigger impact when it matters
Iād take Everton over Fraser mind
He's brill
Heās a Brillo pad

We're not getting Zaha, so Everton is probably the best we can do atm.
Letās wait and see eh. I was told to ābe excitedā and thatās what Iām doing
Zaha is a good player though. Think he's better than Everton.
Should be since he's older and twice as expensive.

The number of times he sits players on their arse down on the touchline is absurd.
He looks properly exciting to me. Let's hope he can step up and play at the highest level. The fact that Edu worked closely with him in Brazil makes me feel better about the whole thing. Should provide us with key insight, and Edu knows what it takes mentally to adapt to England too.
Does look good aye. Get him and Zaha!
I would be excited to see him come in, for sure. He looks a very dangerous player and I was impressed with how he stepped up in the last 20 minutes of the Copa America final, when Brazil needed him. I just think Zaha looks better.
Yep, he looks like someone who'll be fun to watch and get the crowd excited. We need some players with real flair - it's been a while!
Obviously Zaha is a safer bet and probably won't need a season to adapt but if this is our back up plan then I can get on board with it.
Want!!!
Looks very good in those compilations. We need players who can beat a man and run with the ball.
