On one hand I'm glad we are trying to seal this as early as possible. On the other hand pity it isn't on the last day of transfer window because this has got all the potential of an Arshavin llama thread classic.

When will Mkhi leave?  Maybe they delay it so this guy gets a fitting jersey number.

He's always worn 19 when he was able to choose. That's available.

Yeah, I mentioned it was available earlier. But it would be nice for him to graduate to 7. Or do we keep that for Nelson? 🙂
I'm going to go mad waiting for this transfer.

I blame Ornstien for the thread not being a classic, after he rubbished it we just ignored all the other links. Never gave the thread a chance.

Top club problems. 🙂

For those that care about these kinds of things.

Interesting that Pépé beats Zaha in their dribbling stats. That's based on successul take-ons amongst other things, so that's quite impressive. The passing stat is a bit meaningless because it's largely dependent on the possession the team overall has. Shooting and chance creation being heavily in Pépé's favour is not a surprise at all: That's where Zaha falls away in comparison to top wide players.

Very few beat Pépé stats though when you go through and test it.

Zaha plays in a much stronger league let’s not forget

Plus he doubled Zaha’s goals and assists. You can discount the goals by saying half were penalties, but half of those penalties he won on his own.
What I am looking forward to a lot of is men having to peel off Aubameyang and Ozil as Pepe cuts in from the right. You see a lot of this when City play. They maximize on this by moving the ball quickly once this happens, creating tears in the defense. Right now we are too static. Pep can change all of this.

Arsenal twitter don't miss a thing! 😆

I expect some concrete confirmation will be had today and we will see him in the shirt by the end of the week. Add Tierney and somehow manage to flip Mustafi/Beilik for one decent CB and this will prove to be our best summer in a long, long time.

Number 19 jersey number seems vacant. Or we could wait to see if Mkhitaryan moves himself to avail 7.

How long is Mkhi's contract? Man I would be so happy if we could get rid of him this summer.

Nicolas Pépé is expected to undergo his medical ahead of #AFC move this week [Paul MacInnes - Guardian]

Let's get this done fast so we can get 2 defenders in as well.

Arsenal fans on the Internet are brilliant. Thousands had followed one plane assumed to be Aubameyang's on flightradar.

Ex Southampton and current Lille defender Jose Fonte on asked about Pepe on talksport “Arsenal are getting a very accomplished player in Nicolas Pepe.”

Time for me to go on youtube.

It's done. I'm not worried about this.

Never in doubt
