Martinelli reacted like that AFTER Bradley wriggled himself more on to the pitch.

He may be seriously injured but he clearly tried to position himself more on the pitch so it looked like he was exaggerating.

Liverpool had been falling over and feigning injury all game. Martinelli thought it was another dive. How was he to know the team that cried wolf actually had an injury this time.

Slot's reaction to this was refreshingly honest. He acknowledged that Martinelli wouldn't have done it if he knew the actual extent of the injury and that his reaction is likely due to there being a lot of time wasting and gamesmanship in the modern game in general.

It's how I see it too. Martinelli will apologise to Bradley and that should be the end of it. There is no way for Martinelli to have known he was seriously injured and people should get off their high horse.
