I have talked about this before about not having having a 30-40 goal CF, in order for that to work you need two wide players who are absolute demons. I think Saka is, that is why teams double or triple down that side to stop him. Martinelli last season was one but this season simply has not kicked on, far too much of our attacking threat is having to be carried out by Odegaard and Saka, once you shut them out there doesn't seem to be much more there.
Personally I prefer the Mane/Salah or Ribery/Robben approach and I've found for that the striker needs to be someone who can nit things together rather than a pure striker. Martinelli this season just has not been at the required standard. I don't think it is a coincidence we are being heavily linked with the likes of Neto.
