It's kinda insane that they still have 9 more games to play. Immobile could technically break the 40 goal barrier while playing for a team like Lazio. He has filled out well in latter years. He reminds me a little bit of Vieri currently.

To be fair Higuain also had less than half the amount of penalties at the end of the season. I'd still be surprised to see that record broken even if I like Immobile.

To give credit to Gazidis, there are some green shoots appearing in the new Milan project.

Referees are giving easy penalties for handballs today in Serie A.
On this live Milan-Lazio game, Milan got an easy ball for a player who handled with his back turned to cross.
In Juve game, similar foul against De Ligt. And he got a yellow card to add insult to injury.

If Atalanta beat Juventus this weekend, they will be six points behind them with six matches left.

Juve still have to play Roma and Lazio with a potential banana skin match against Sassuolo as well while Atalanta have to face Inter and Milan in the last six matches.

Could Atalanta do the unthinkable and win the league against all odds ?

I would love to see it happen.

It would be great for football if Atalanta won. They've been one of the more exciting and innovative teams in the game, on a shoestring budget. Juve do not need a hundredth straight title.
