Should be an interesting season with the big Italian teams yet to hire a manager.

Inter have struck first.

Good manager but always ends up fighting with the board.

I rate him as a tactician though.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is a joke.

Milan breached FFP in three separate seasons!
How do you allow them to choose their punishment?

Playing in the Europa League represents failure for club like AC Milan and i'm sure they cannot believe their fortune that these idiot judges believed that offering to give up their place in it so as to avoid a potential Champions League ban further down the line is a fair deal.

In the meantime, muggins de vito is limiting his spending allowing a direct rival to swoop in on targets (Ndombele, Saliba, ?, ...) that would help us recover.

Antonio Candreva with a golazo:

I think Lukaku will do very well in the slower paced Italian league.

Brozovic and Sensi also scored nice goals.

Possibly. He scored a hundred goals in Premier League so I'm sure Lukaku will do alright in Serie A too. Looking at those match highlights he's still massively overweight though, and that's gonna fuck him up when he runs around on hot pitches in Italy.

I don't know what's weirder, that he came back from the World Cup looking like that or that United couldn't sort it out in an entire year.

I felt that a lot of criticism thrown at Lukaku when he was at Manchester United was undeserved.

Give him a good support cast and he will score goals.

Milan on the other hand looked horrendous in their season opener against Udinese.

Very worryingly for them, Piatek has looked very off color all pre-season and even towards the end of last season.

7 goal thriller between Napoli and Fiorentina.

Klaus and other Serie A buffs....who's worth watching this year? Fiorentina played some good footy last year yeah?

Fiorentina just barely stayed up last year, but they underperformed relative to the players they have. The biggest reason to watch them is Federico Chiesa. He's going to be an absolute star.

Make sure to watch Atalanta if you can. They played the most entertaining football in the league last season and they're in Champions League now, so there should be extra opportunities outside Serie A. Gasperini is a very likable manager. Zapata was arguably the best forward in Italy last season and I think Luis Muriel will prove to be an excellent buy.

Napoli are always worth a watch, and I'd keep track of Inter too. They've underperformed for years, but they have Conte now and they've made some good buys recently. Barella is probably the best young midfielder in Italy and his all-action game will suit Conte's football.

He scored plenty at Everton so the Premier League isn't his problem.

As for Serie A,
The greatest story, however, came in Verona – where Bologna manager Sinisa Mihajlovic appeared in the away dugout less than two months after being diagnosed with leukemia. This was the first time he had left hospital in 40 days, surprising his own players when he arrived in their team hotel shortly before they were due to travel to the stadium.

Juventus line-up for the game tonight.
De Ligt starts. Dybala on the bench. Rabiot also stays on the bench. Khedira continues to start. Should be a good game.

Juventus: Szczesny, De Sciglio, Bonucci, de Ligt, Alex Sandro, Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi, Douglas Costa, Higuain, Ronaldo.

Yeah. He's only played half a half against Triestina. They have enough quality in midfield that they won't miss him unlike us last year.

Napoli is still crap defensively

The Milan fans are raving about Bennacer.

How do Khedira suddenly have this performance in his locker at this age?

Ramsey better get used to the bench.

Juventus have the freedom of the park. I'm liking this. Khedira seems re-energised this season. Was good last week.
De Ligt will really have to step up with this Chiellini injury. Even gives Rugani a chance at redemption.
