Anyone still havung issues with the emirates peeling off of kits. Happened to my 07 one, bought the home and away in 2010 but never wore them, wore it to play football the other week and after a wash its begun to peel off. I though the issue was resolved following the big issue we had with the 2007 kit.

Worried same shit will happen to the away kit if I start wearing it now. Also have all 3 adidas kits from the first season they made it for us but still in the plastic, not sure if that issue also remains there.

Same thing happened to mine from 10/11, the 125th anniversary one from the year after is still fine though.

Oh if you couldn't read it at all afterwards I'd agree, but it's still very much visible, just looks like I spilled beer in a "Fly Emirates" shape on it.

Yeah that's the one. Saw a little bubble under the sponsor logo rubbed it for a second and realised it was coming off LMAO. Didn't realise that problem still existed in our kits.

My o2, dreamcast and JVC ones from back in the day still have the logos looking like they did back then. Just a shame I can't fit into them anymore haha.

Thing is I haven't worn any of my kits outside of actually playing football since I was like 20 or so, and I haven't played more than the odd kickabout since 2012 so all my kits since that 2010 one are pretty much unworn.

I hope the adidas one from 2019 doesn't peel off, got the red, yellow and blue ones.

Mine still look like I just bought them even though I wear them pretty often, but then again I got replicas from SE Asia and Senegal (bought from flobs' cousins) which are apparently of better quality than some of the older originals I had - the 10/11 one lasted like two seasons

Are you washing them at the temperature it says inside the shirt? Might be a stupid question but I do know many people who wash them at a higher temperature despite the warning.

Yeah my brother bought my kid a real shirt a couple of years ago for his birthday, sponspor peeled off after a while. The dozen or so rep kits I've bought the kids are all still perfect. Just ordered the new ones yesterday too.

I have no idea what temperature my clothes are washed at, I have a wife to do that for me.

Well I've been living in the middle east last few years and the cold tap water is pretty warm here (pike 25-30°c) so I don't even turn on the boiler most of the time for the laundry or to take a shower. So it's never above thr 40°c they recommend to wash it at.

I wasn't keen initially. Seeing it in the flesh on Sunday though, I thought it looked much better. It even looked good on a really fat bloke at the Twelve Pins. I love the shade of red and the clean lines, much better than this season's kit imo.

Think the pink shirt is a big disappointment though.

I seen them both on match day and thought last season kit was better because of the blue stripes

The lack of blue is precisely what I love about the new home kit. Red and white, as it should be

I like the home kit , my peeve is the design on the collar. Apart from that it's the best home shirt we've had in a while

Apparently extended the Adidas deal until 2030. Hopefully they'll keep up the good quality, we've had some great shirts since we changed from Puma.
